Safari supper, 26 January 2008
Take 30 couples, add lots of culinary skill, and a sense of adventure, and you've got Fernham's most recent safari supper.
The evening started at Tom and Hazel's house, where guests were treated to very generous pre-dinner drinks, before each couple headed off to 1 of 4 starter venues. Main courses followed at 4 more houses, and then the dessert course at a final 4 homes. Full of delicious food, everyone then gathered at Marcia and David's house for an end-of-safari party.
For a number of Fernham residents, it was their first safari supper and they seemed to have a very enjoyable time. Many thanks to Claire Kay for once again making the evening go like clockwork through her careful planning.
